The International Irradiation Association (iia) invites nominations for Laureate Awards to be presented at IMRP 2016.
The award represents the highest honour that members of the irradiation community can bestow on their colleagues.
The International Irradiation Association (iia) has made Laureate Awards since the second International Meeting on Radiation Processing held in 1978. At IMRP 2016 the awards will be presented to two individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of the science, technology or business of radiation processing.
The Laureate Award will be presented to an individual who has:
- made an outstanding scientific, technological, entrepreneurial, business or academic contribution to the irradiation community.
- served as a leader and/or role model for excellence in irradiation.
Submit a brief letter of recommendation (200-500 words) describing the individual’s accomplishments, significant achievements and period of involvement with radiation processing. Please include the name and contact information for the Nominee, the Proposer and Seconder.
Nominations will be presented to the iia Board which will act as an Awards Committee. The Board/Committee will evaluate and select the Award winners. All nomination information will be kept confidential.
Please send nominations to Martin Comben at email@example.com by 31st July 2016
